HD waterless cleaner streaks black bikes
Yeah after waiting monthsfor my dealer to restock this stuff I tried it figuring it would be my winter salvation (to some degree) to keeping my Black 2005EGC reasonably clean since I ride through the whole winter here in N/East PA. As long as theres no residual cinders or of course snow in the travel lanes of the road I ride-even justfor 30-45 minutes some days. Anyway after using it in my mediocre lit garage and thinking it was pretty good I got the bike in the sun yesterday and its all rainbow streaks and just looks terrible. Ended up disassembling the bags/seat and waxing the whole bike and glass cleaner the chrome to get it to look right. Waste of 10 dollars if you got a black bike.

I just can't bring myself to use any product that claims you don't need water. I don't care if it's just dust, it still has the ability to scratch. And as you found out, black shows it the most. I would rather wait and give it a good bath with soap and water and good quailty wash mitt. JMO.

I've been using the BOM on all my Hinckley Triumphs and now that I've finally upgraded to an 06 FLHTI I finally found someone locally in eastern TN that sells it. I normally clean the bike thoroughly but I found that by using a spray bottle filled with water to help lift the dirt it really helps out alot. I've owned the bike since April 06 and now have close to 19k miles on it since I commute daily to my work.

I have used Dry Wash on my Black Pearl bike for a while and haven't had any problem, I do wash it with soap and water and use the dry wash in between washings.I have gotten lazy and used the dry wash on my bike when it's been fairly dirty and it still works well. Probably not a product for every body but it works for me..
