Default Cleaning RG headlight lens...

O.K., I give up! When I wash my RG water gets inside and behind the plastic shield in the fairing. It's all spotted, looks like **** (I'm a little **** about keeping my bike clean!) and drives me crazy. Can you get the lens off to wash it or is this another brilliant HD engineering blunder??

Show me the light...

I use a popsicle stick and start underneath one of the bottom tabs. Then just pull it off.

Can you believe a guy at the dealer told me I would have to take the whole fairing apart. Thanks for the help... I put a screw driver in a very thin rag and popped it right off!

Thanks...

4 tabs, 2 at the top, 2 at the bottom. Take it slow and a soft touch. If you are as you say be careful putting it back on or you will see the finger prints you put on it during Re-install.

While you have the cover off, you should clean
the headlight lens also. You must use a SOFT, VERY SOFT cloth
or it will scratch. Be warned. . . . .
