RE: Black Denim Street Glide???
I'm thinking that a flat black 'mod' would be simple. I know a guy who has an old BMW that he rides in addition to his EG Standard. He crashed the BMW and did the bodywork himself and shot the entire bike with flat black rattle-cans. We call it the Stealth Bike, and it really doesn't look bad at all.
I know if I decided to go with a black demin on my Street Glide, I would definitely try painting it myself first. Flat colors are much easier to paint than gloss. Anyway, I figure I can screw it up a lot cheaper myself, and only take it to a 'pro' as a last resort.

The Harley raddle cans are very easy to work with. It is laquer paint and goes on very easy. I painted my oil tank, belt guard, and misc. pieces on my luxury rich red sporty I had. I am not a painter! Here is a pic, can you tell?
