Slip-on muffler baffles

Slip-on muffler baffles
Has anyone ever interchanged baffles from a different muffler manufacturer? I have a set of 3.5" Python slip-on mufflers that I am considering installing Rush 2.5 or 2.25" or Rinehart performance baffles in the Python bodies. All three muffler bodies have a 3.5" O.D. andthe baffles are held in place by a 1/4" screw/screws. I may just have to relocate the hole in the muffler body to align with the baffle screw hole.
Any thoughts or experiences?

RE: Slip-on muffler baffles
Have you installed your different baffles in your V&H mufflers yet? Which baffles did you go with? I am still undecided on what baffles to try. I already have the SE air filter and true duals on my existing set up and had it remapped when I put that exhaust system on and air filter. I'm hopping I don't have to remap again. I might try the Revtect DFO to fine tune the fuel mixture. I'd appreciate any feedback with your new set up.
Thanks
