Default What is the 3 wire connector on the radio Antenna

My brother has a 2006 EG custom with a removabletour pak.
The radio antenna connector at the rear (coming from the radio)has the normal antenna connection, but also hasa small three wire black connector attached to the antenna wire, a blue, a brown, and some other dark colored wire. It's a female connector with all three wires in line. Anyone know what this connector is for???

Thanks..

I want to know too.

I just put a hidden tunetrapper antenna on my bike so I removed the rear antenna and coiled the wire under the seat. I noticed this plug too especially when it got caught and would not come out of a tight spot near the shock.

I suspect that the wire has something to do with rear speakers, or tourpak lights???? Only a guess.

That's your connector for lights on a tour pac.

My brother's quick release tour pak doesn't have lights... but he would like to add them.
I assume since there are only three wires these would be a ground, running "tail" light, and brake light.....no turn signals.....
Is this right???

It's for TP lighting. Should be run/brake/ground.

I did a spoof thread about installing the tour pac lighting kit back in April. It's pretty easy.
