RE: Wheel bearing replacement 07 RKC
I am sorry, my spelling is not the best & I work in "M.S. Word" so you know what I am talking about and not advanced Chinese. I composed all before copying & pasting with the Reply to Message open. All posts between my last one 11/1/2007 7:01:26 PM were unknown to me @ time of my posting. Again sorry for all the late news.

I just located the Jims Tool #1042 in the Dennis Kirk catalog for $205.00, anyone know of a better price anywhere?

This is for 2000 and above, except 2007 Softails. I've heard nothing but good reports about his tool quality, and the prices are usually very reasonable.

When you are there you might want to pick up the 41mm Fork Seal Installer, Knurled with Split Design Designed to install upper bushings and seals on 41mm fork sliders. The BEST installer you'll ever own.
These might not look so good but the price is right unless you do this for a living.
The seal driver is just a split piece of 2 inch PVC.
On a side note[/b] with the split two inch PVC pipe. We found it easier to basically just take the same amount of pipe out and only splitting it down ONE side. It's about two circular saw blades width.[/b] THEN all you have to do is place it around the fork and with two or three band clamps make it the right diameter. This proved to be easier than trying to configure the two halves. Hope you do-it-yourselfer's enjoy these El'Cheap'o tools.
