Default CLEARVIEW AND ROAD GLIDE

My 07 Road Glide has the HD chrome windshield trim installed. Will this part fit correctly with the Clearview windshield I recenly ordered?I've heard the trim doesnt fit the same when the thicker Clearview shield is installed. Any help....

It'll fit, but not perfect. the edges stand off the top of the fairing about 1/2"

At least that was my case.

The quality of the Clearview far offsets the minor offset of the chrome piece. Myopinion only.

The chrome piece didn't fit properly on mine either. Took the chrome piece off since I enjoy beingwind buffeting free! Love my Clearview standard height windshield (took 10 weeks to get though[:@]!

I am running a Clearview and the chrome trim on my 2007 Road Glide with no issues. It fits about the same as on the stock one.

Just paid around $120 for the chrome trim for my 07 RG. Installed it a couple days ago and I love the look as well as the fit. I haven't ordered a Clearview yet although it's on my wish list.

I'm nervous now about the trim. I'm one of those picky sorts that likes things to fit tight.

So, what is the verdict here??? Does it fit tight on a RG or not?
Thanks for humoring me here guys.
