RE: feeler need some opinions
Tut - You obviously have a lot of pride in keeping your bike nice. Think about what a pain those 100 spokes would be to clean. I had 80 spokes on my old RKC and they were a pain. My RG has 60 spokes and they are much easier. Still not as easy as your PM's but manageable.
I'm obviously in the minority when it comes to laced wheels, which is fine with me. Don't own a trailer and this bike gets ridden out of town every chance I get. Ride Wright makes some very nice wheels. I talked to them for a while in Hollister this summer. Nice guys too.
As I've told you before, check with Bart (Shooter64) when you get ready to pull the trigger. You will be very happy with his pricing on wheels. Great guy.

i was looking at something like this http://www.hdwheels.com/images/80-10...ckel%20Rim.jpg a powdercoated rim and spokes to match my paint. chrome hub and chrome nipples. im not ordering from these guys as they are not a sponsor and too expensive.

Tut,
I can't understand the paranoia from all these guys about getting a flat. I've been riding for over 20 yrs on many different Harley's and I've been on my 76 FLH since 1994 and have never gotten a flat... I'm nocking on wood right now. The old Shovel has laced rims BTW. I've been all over the U.S. on that bike and can't remember worrying about getting a flat tire even once. Worrying about every "what if" will kill the buzz every time! Get the rims you think will look good on your bike and enjoy the ride.
