Is there and special tools needed to replace the lowers on a 2005 Ultra Classic? Also I do not see a Progressive suspension lowering kit listed for the 2005 FLHTCU. Do they make one? What did the 05 Ultra riders use to lower their bike? Thanks for the help.

 

No special tools just look at the thing and you will see....I bought 11 1/2 progressive shocks and did away with the ari ride I never liked it from the first day I bought mine... Jer

 

My rk was lowered from the previous owner and it always rode a little rough,(bottomed out often)also an indy told me that lowering the bike messed up the geometry of the scoot and it will not corner as well...after buying the ultra classic i tend to agree with the indy...at least in my case...my UC will out corner the rk all day long.... I'm sure this is not the case for every lowered bike butis something i would look into closely before I lowered another bike. Just my 2cents.
