My bars are www.lachoppers.com bars. they are 18', as I mentioned above, I love them. However, if I had it to do over again, I would have got the bars that my wife talked me out of. LAChoppers ***** F'ers bars. I still want them, but am having a tough time convincing the wife to let me buy bars, when I just got these a few months ago. [:@]

I love my Road King Custom,

I have installed thousands in additions but the bike was cool stock.I did howevergo the route of the "Geezer" and installed several of the "creature comforts". I have had several compliments and it is a great riding scooter. I dohowever have one BIG BEEF. Since the day I picked it up from the dealership the front brake has squeeled like a little girl. I have takenit in several times and the dealrship says 'It's normal on these bikes. There is nothing we can do about it." THANK GOD I found this website. I've only been a member for one day and founda thread here that states these style bikes have a Service Bulliten on just this problem. Thanks HDF!

I tried to put a pic on but I can't seem to do it. You would thinka Computer Network Engineer/Administrator of a network with 6200 PCs at 37 different sites could figure it out but...NO. Sorry, maybe another day.

Hey! I did it. I don't feel so dumb now.

ORIGINAL: skitzo

Getting one with 7k on it and many custom options, is that a good bike form your experience.
Bought mine in August 2004. I have never had a problem with it. The front brakes had an annoying squeal to them but that went way when I put the new front wheel and rotors on. I have modified it so much over the last 3 years that the only Road King Custom recognition on it it the "Harley Davidson Script" on the fuel tank. I have all the original parts so I could put it back to stock configuration very easily. A 500 mile a day ride is no problem with it. Very comfortable.
