Is Harley offering "free" installation of IDS on '07 bikes?
Ask your dealer about the "elbow grease program". Pays $100 of labor towards the IDS install and numerous other things. BTW, $100 should cover the IDS install.
07, 07, 07, 07,
did I say get the 07......I've owned both, get the 07....these puppies will fly, the 1800 wing will not out run you, you won't out run him either, but he'll not leave you in the dust, like you were on a 03.....
I only have 7000 miles on my 07 flhx that I purchased in may this year, but it has not given me a single problem. The motor runs cooler with the stage one kit installed, I have Rhinehart True Duals, V&H Big Sucker and a Thundermax ECU running the show... I have ridden an '06 and the '07 is hands down stronger than the '06....
I'd take the '03. I'll bet there's more room to negotiate a sale on that bike anyway, and I hardly see a dime's worth of difference - each bike has potential issues for its respective year, and the mileage is less than 10,000 difference. But go ahead and get the '07, that helps the economy and spreads more money around.
