When I put the SuperTrapps on the EG, I kept the logo inside, so they're clean on the outside. Hard to tell they're not HD mufflers. As electaRick mentioned, putting through towns, they are mellow and well behaved. They bark nicely when you leave town and get on it, though. After my previous experiences with the Ovals, these puppies are perfect, IMHO. The billeted tips look great, as well.

Sounds like these are what I'm looking for come spring. I just want a bit more rumble than the stockers and I hear the new Screaming Eaglesare about the same as stock.

Good info for those of us shopping for slip-ons considering the ST with questions about sound levels.&nbsp\\; This should be the definitive thread on the topic, short, direct, with numbers to back up opinions.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;I&nbsp\\;ordered a set of ST 128-65115 through Fuel Moto.&nbsp\\; Before I ordered them the friendly&nbsp\\;sales rep insisted I speak with a tech to ensure they were the right system for me... Thats service.&nbsp\\; Thanks to all who contributed.

I did my first road trip last weekend with my Super Trapps.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Awesome mufflers.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;Cruising and going&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;down&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;the highway nice&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;easy rumble.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Power wise, I think they are one of the best.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Quieter than Rush (with any baffle)&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;and VH, louder than Screaming Eagle!

I concur with the above mentioned information.&nbsp\\; I just put the SuperTrapp SE slip-ons and Vance and Hines Dresser Duals and love the performance and sound.&nbsp\\; A little louder than stock\\; definitely stereo friendly and doesn't require the use of earplugs around town.&nbsp\\; There was no loss of torque and my seat-o-pants dyno says a slight increase in HP.&nbsp\\; No remap, as I didn't put the air cleaner on, and no popping on decel.&nbsp\\; I plan on installing the Screamin' Eagle air cleaner sometime this week and remapping for some improved performance.
