You need to go to church and say a BIG AMEN. For he is definitely watching out for you. By the way, did they get ahold of the fella that hit you?

Ok, let's explain this to you doubters. When the guy got hit, the massive injury threw his body into shock and he froze momentarily. No pain felt because that is how the body reacts to trauma of the sort he is talking about. He is dam lucky to be alive because he could have bled out too far and not recovered. He is also lucky that he had a good surgeon who was willing to make the effort to save the leg vs cut it off. I had my toes cut off in an accident and they were hanging by skin....no pain, just a lot of blood.

I don't know whether the riding home was the smartest thing to do as his decision there was also affected by shock...and it turned out fine. If you are ever involved or come across an accident like this the proper first aid would save his life....treat for shock and given the injury if he is bleeding out.....then it would be appropriate to use a turniquet (sp?).

I am a firm believer than the MAN smiled on our brother.

People don't usually lie in a story like this unless they are trying to scam money or parts...I saw none of that here. We all talk sh#t, that is part of the lifestyle; but, there is a time to be serious and this was one of them.
