Parts Orders
You know whats kickin my tail?
Parts. Ordering parts from a dealer.
Its worse than going on line and ordering. I mean on line I dont have to talk to
a kid at the counter...(I wont go there)
I saw on here where someone bought a oil cooler from zanotti's and was getting it like
overnight to his door.
Try that at the dealership parts counter. At least at mine.
Am I ranting?
Anyone else wanna try?

RE: Parts Orders
Bummer.....sorry to hear about your woes. Is there another dealer near you can go to? We have at least six HD dealers to choose from withing about 50 miles of my house. 50 miles might sound far to go for parts but my daily commute is 25 miles one way. Turns out the dealer nearest my house is awesome (Destination HD in Tacoma WA). The parts guys are knowledgable and they generally have what I need. Stuff I've ordered through them is in within a week. I've had other issues (service issues) that have not been handled the best way but that's teh nature of the beast. Be a squeeky wheel....complain to the genral manager about it and maybe they will step it up a bit. Good luck....

RE: Parts Orders
A buddy of mine ordered some parts on a tuesday, went to the dealer the following monday assuming they would be there, they told him no, we just ordered them today[monday] because that's when we order. They never bothered to tell him on the tuesday he was in the shop. A Offical parts manual is a very, very good thing to buy for your bike, little pricey, but, then YOU know the parts you need/want.
