Default SERT & Twin Scan II Low Cost Scan Tool

My salesperson just called and said my bike is shipping today...finally!

FYI: The more important news to this community is that he also called Daytona Twin Tec for me to find out when the '08 TCFI III was going to be ready? After talking to a tech, he was told that DTT is not going to manf. a TCFI III to work on 08's because of liability over the Throttle by Wire system! They did announce and post on their site today a new Twin Scan II Low Cost Scan Tool that marries to the SERT and gives you so live data logging etc for around $500 Duckies. I guess this is what I'm going to go with, as the SERT is the only thing that's working now. And by the time someone gets the hutzpah to come up with a lower cost system...the 09's will be out! Just want to ride my bike without the epa up my ***!

I have been hearing rumors that was gonna be the case with both DTT & Tmax regarding the 08's.

The TwinScan II & II+ have been out for a while and makes for anexcellent tool to aid in SERT Tuning.

Head-Quaters will have a version of ProTuner out for the 08's soon as well. http://www.head-quarters-usa.com/protune.html

Phil - Can you please share any experince you have with either of these units?
I do plan to add a Fat Cat 2-1, SERT, and SE Air Filter to get my thing on next week!

However, I don't see where HQ shows the cpu interface where you can tune it yourself. It looks like you dont have as much control as you do with the Twin Scan II+?

Ready to be enlightened so I can have my wallet lightened! ;^)
