Has anybody ever used Bardahl petroleum products?
DennisKirk sells it.

Old name from when I was a kid.........I would not use it in my old lawn mower, but that is just me. I think it is in the same leaegue as STP!

I remember this company when I was a kid. Like the other responses here, it's been years since I've heard of any of their products. There are quite famous in their day for hydroplane racing of all things. At that time and as I remember most of their products if not all of them were based upon Pennsylvania crude oil. Things of course to change, and that's a possibility here. Personally I don't believe they're so related to STP, I'm not aware of anything that is as crappy as STP is. Take a look at the product if there is Teflon floating around in there someplace, then of course stay away from it. Personally I'm not a real big fan of oil additives, you can get all you need usually from reputable manufacturers such as Amsoil and mobile.
