Sounds like a good deal to me. A guy at work had a 2000 RK with a 95" kit in it and over 20K and a carbon it. Got 12K out of it. It ran really strong, that1 should also. Is it EFI or carb?

What ashame, It's only worth that much. I hope you got your money's worth. My buddy sold his 2002 king with 25 K miles for $9500. The used market is weak.

This is probably true...

 

I paid 12K for a 2001 RK 17000 miles, from the dealer w/ a trade-in that basically was stock. I thought I got a good deal so I'd say you are deff fair.
