Rinehart slip ons

RE: Rinehart slip ons
Sounds really good...but not quite loud enough for me. They are very popular pipes and are on alot of the bikes of the folks in this forum. Spend some time at your local HD shop and listen to them for yourself. Don't want to take someone elses advice on something that important.

RE: Rinehart slip ons
I mostly agree with JeffSG's comments, except that the volume is perfect for me. That being said, I intentionally wanted something a little tamer than what I had in the past with my Fatboy (some V&H's that sounded great, but were too loud for me). The Rinehart slip-ons havea great sound to them - IMHO Rineharts have a distinctive sound, and the slip-ons carry on that distinction. Do some searches on this forum and you'll find some great info on these pipes. One word of caution - a lot of folks have had problems with the end caps changing color. I'm among this group, and ended up replacing them with some chrome slash cut end caps. You should definately seek to hear them live before you decide, as the sound of your pipes is certainly a personal choice. Have fun checking out all the pipes available!
