I wear a helmet and can guarantee you less buffetting with my 8" recurve. The only thing I have to get used to is there is more wind on the front end versus what was hitting me on the top of the head. The front seems a bit more prone to sheer, but I am getting used to it.

I went with the 2 inch over stock. I'm 6'4' with 32 " inseam wife is 5'10". I talked to folks at Clearview about my size and they are quite helpful. I felt they had the most experience with trying to fit the market place. Great customer service & I felt worth the wait.

I am 5'8" and use the GT-small in light grey tint. Love it. no buffeting, I see well over the shield (can't stand looking thru a shield). I do also run the HDchrome windshield trim, and as someone said, it does not sit perfectly flat on the corners with the clearview, but it wasn;t bad enough to bother me. at some point, I will pad it with black weatherstripping, which will hid the gap fine.

I have a Clearview Sport Shield in dark gray tint with a recurve. It's better than the HD 8" shield I was running. Not really much help for your situation, but since you asked who has them........
I ran a 6" sheild on my roadglide all summer, will be taking it off for winter... but I loved the look (I have no problem sacrificing comfort for LOOKS...lol). the clearview sport you have may be the perfect solution for me... with the one I had, above 50mph I could not hear the stereo over the wind noise. does the sport with the recurve eliminate some of the wind noise?
