I think we're talking about different mirrors. The ones you list mount inside the fairing. The original question of this thread had to do with the ones that mount with the windshield.

Are you talking about the fairing mounted mirror or the windshield mounted mirrors? Do you have pics?

 

I've got 'em. I like them a lot! I'll try and get some pics uploaded this afternoon.

I originally got them because my new bars ride higher than stock and blocked the stock fairing-mount mirrors. Rear viz with the new mirrors is excellent. A bit smaller than any other mirrors you're likely to see on a abgger, but it's never been a problem. Others have commented on a vibration problem; other than idling (when the whole bike is shaking), I've never noticed a vibe problem with mine. The chrome trim strip is neither great nor bad, it just is. Looks better than no trim strip, though.

Imaginative design but I don't see them having a future on my Ultra. Just my opinion.

 

Kinda like the concept, cause I can't see good enough with my stock mirrors. Someone needs to make an extention for the stock setup, so you don't have to plug the holes.
