Default question on 08 touring bikes

I'm slowly working my mind into trading my 98 Road King for an 08 Road Glide. I have a question about the SERT programmer. Does the SERT put a dongle on the bike? Is there a program that will fatten up the fuel/air ratio on a stock bike (stock intake, pipes, etc.).

SERT leaves nothing on the bike - but remaps the code you select and modify.

Apparently V&H has a product out for the '08s to modify the fuel injection... . but remember, SERT does fuel and timing.

The SERT is nothing more than a interface gizmo that allows the stock ECM to be entered and reprogramed. It comes with a limited number of maps for simple upgrades but is mainly used to form cutom maps to fit your bike with the use of a dyno.
