Seen a couple on E-Bay... Not a cheap thing even there... You would be better off in the long run going aftermarket.... You'll get more Bang for your Buck!!!

 

got a pioneer now thumb controls dont work & no auto volune control really sucks they make a setup for sony so thumb controls work but still no auto volume control but that will be about 500 after you buy the adapter & radio but still no avc

 

I got the Biketronics kit for the Sony and it has AVC. Unfortunately, I hit the stereo with a little too much water at the car wash this weekend, so it's probably going to have to be replaced.... I had less than $300.00 total in mine with XM, but I got the Biketronics kit dirt cheap.

 

I have the Biketronics interface ($149) with a Sony GT 510 headunit ($139list)and the AVC works--in fact it has 10 AVC settings; the HD stock headunits from '98-'02 four AVC settings. Biketronics' installation instructions include how to adjust the AVC setting. Biketronics's website lists the compatible decks for their interface unit; Hawg-wired also sells an interface unit for aftermarket decks that some HDFers have used successfully. Both retain the handlebar controls.

Looks like even buying the Sony headunit to replace your Pioneer you would spend ~$300 since you already have speakers, speaker adapters, mounting for the headunit, and antenna. You could then give/sell/whatever your Pioneer.

cool thanks i was told that the biketronix NOR the hawg wired had avc im glad to hear that they do now where can i find the biketronix kit
