Default 2nd bike

I Got a 07 Wide Glide.

Was interested in a 2nd bike. Like a Electra Glide Standard, or a Street Glide or a Heritage Classic. Like the heritage but don't like softails. Which bike would be a best bike for longer distances for 2 people riding over 6 hours in a day.

Any of the touring family will suit you better than a heritage, IMO. The EGS is the cheapest of the line, but I don't like the engine cases. If the sg is in your budget, look at the eg classic. Basically the same price, and you will get more for your money. Remember, it is cheaper to remove the stuff you don't need all the time, than it is to buy the stuff (tourpak) that you might want, on occasion, IMO.

When it comes to comfort, get the Ultra Classic, the wife's behind will be super happy and so will yours. You won't be looking for a place to rest until you have to fill with gas. Good luck.

I'm assuming you are asking about riding more than 6 hours in a day because that's about all you can stand on the WG. You will be amazed at how much longer you can stay on the road riding one fo the touring bikes. I routinely ride 10 - 12 hours when I hit the road. Nothing wrong with any of the batwing bikes, they will all fill your needs.
