Any of the touring family will suit you better than a heritage, IMO. The EGS is the cheapest of the line, but I don't like the engine cases. If the sg is in your budget, look at the eg classic. Basically the same price, and you will get more for your money. Remember, it is cheaper to remove the stuff you don't need all the time, than it is to buy the stuff (tourpak) that you might want, on occasion, IMO.

so, Im serious on this reply,
wife and I did the Dyna thing,, we loved it,,, still have it,,,
test rode a Ultra,,, hands down,, the only way to go!!!! responce.
well , we bought one,,,, trust me, ultra is the only way to go with wife.
when shes happy , you happy!
go to a Hog rally, mostly couples,,,, 9 outta 10 bikes Ultras!
to this day, we still wonder how we managed to enjoy the heck out of that dyna? lol

I Got a 07 Wide Glide.
Was interested in a 2nd bike. Like a Electra Glide Standard, or a Street Glide or a Heritage Classic. Like the heritage but don't like softails. Which bike would be a best bike for longer distances for 2 people riding over 6 hours in a day.
