Considered the streetgide cause I had a buddy that had a dyna and got one,he's about the same height as me and he loved it.
I got buddy's with EGU and EGC and they seem to drop them a lot. I think the EG might be more motorcycle that I want to handle. I'm sure they ride good, but its the weight issue. I was just wondering if they rode about as good as the EG does. I bought 1 motorcycle last year, kept it for 5000 miles and took it back and traded it in for the WG that I have. I like the WG but when riding all day I kinda git candy *** at 57yrs old. Was thinking about a 2nd bike to stick things in and ride 400 miles or so a day and a bike that would be easy to handle.

either of those choices will work for what you need but i would go for the ultra or imo the classic. Just one more thing,in a year from now come back to this post and let use know how much you still ride the wide glide

The bike needs to fullfill your needs not ours. As far as the uc,egc etc. They are easy to handle. I am 5'7" at 130lbs. I have no problem handling my ultra even with my wife on board. If you can get a test ride this would help you on your decision. If not sit on them and see how they fit you. Remember when riding/siting on a different bike they will feel strange. Any of the fl's will most likely fit your needs. I have 3 bikes and I ride what ever I am in the mood for. It's great to change up

Cardboard, I have an UC and a Heritage Classic, I can not think of two better bikes to have/ride. I can take my girl out on both, long trips I favor the UC, but back and forth to work and around town the Heritage is awesome... besides I just put apes on it and is is a blast to ride!!!!

Did the Dyna thing for a number of years. Really liked my 2001 WG. Traded it for a new 04 Road King Custom with 95ci upgrade and cruise control. This was much more comfortable that the WG on long trips. Could carry about everthing I needed with the removable luggage rack and soft sided luggage. I now have added an 07 Street Glide to the stable and like the radio and lockable saddlebags but just couldn't sell my Road King Custom. So if you like the looks of the Heritage Classic check out the Road King as they are great bikes. The Road King will give you hard saddlebags with a removable windshield. The Road King Classic will give you the same except leather like saddlebags and cruise control standard.

So you don;t have to step up to a Ultra, Classic, Street Glide orRoad Glide to get that great ride a touring model will give you.

Good luck on your search and post pictures when you make your purchase.

Or you can also purchase a used Road King, Road King Custom or a Road King Classic with low mileage at a very reasonable price.

Thanks everybody for all the help. I went and sat on the EGU and EGC, they are just a lot of bike for me. I sat on the Electra Glide Standard which I really like the seat. But it had NO CHROME ! I sat on the Street Glide, It has a smaller seat but feels better, has a lot of chrome and I think I can handle it a lot better. I think I'm going to rent one. I still don't know, I've been at the dealer all day
