New Bike - have questions

RE: New Bike - have questions
1st of all - you don't combine the low-profile shocks with a lowering kit.. unless you like rubbing your rear tire off... pick one or the other - TJ lowering makes a great lowering kit for the '07s - and it doesn't change the shock angle. A lot of guys here say they don't like the Harley profile lowering shocks cause they give a harsher ride and are not as good for 2 up. That said, a lot of guys will tell you the same thing about using a lowering kit - so you are going to have to read all the stories and make your own call on that one,but I wouldnt go morethan 1". I ended up buying an '08 FLHTC- it seems lower to the ground than the '07s. Another idea, get yourself a pair of Harley boots with thicker soles.. or get an oversize boot and put a pad inside... cheaper than lowering shocks.
IDS... Isolated Drive System is a bolt-on component for the rear wheel pulley that smooths loads to the drive train.

I'm leaning toward the lowering kit, not the shocks -
Do I have to lower the front or can I just lower the back?
