RE: Anybody running new Michelin tires Harley is selling?
no, not yet, but i plan on it when my '07 needs them. i've used commanders on my '02 electra glide for years and really like them.. especially because i change them myself and they are much easier to change than any other tire. and they wear well...

I've got 4,000+ miles on a set of Michelins on my
07 Ultra.
They work great and ride much smoother then the
OEM Dunlops. My Ultra rides more like my Goldwing
and handles more like my Ninja now.

How do they compare to the Metzler 880's? I'm in the market for new tread and was considering either one.
How do they compare to the Metzler 880's? I'm in the market for new tread and was considering either one.
The 880's are less forgiving in the rain then the
Michelins but only slightly.
The Michelins have much quicker steering responce
and ride smoother.
The Michelins make more road noise then the 880's.
if you want to get into detail about them,my Shop/Cell
# is 704-236-2885 I'd be glad to help.
PS: They run cooler according to my ifra red temp gun.
