The book says no. I beleive they changed the drive belt size in 07. I won't say it can't be done, just haven't heard of anyone trying it yet. A couple of guys have modified it to fit Softtails though.
Why in the world would you want to put that on a 06, its just a bandaid fix for a poorly designed 6 speed tranny, you have the last of the no trouble 5 speeds, enjoy it.
