Default SE slip ons

My question is I have a friend with a set of SE slip ons that came off a 04 Ultra .Can anyone tell me if these will fit my 07 ultra? He is willing to sell them cheap and they sound great .
Thanks Jeff

they will fit but you may need a race tuner to make sure of the correct air flow since the 07 did not come programmed for such a hi performance muffler. There are no 02 sensors on the 04 but are on the 07.

I have an 07 Ultra as well. Are they easy to install? How much do they run normally?

If they are the SE pro pipes, you don't need to do anythingwhen justchanging the pipes, easy install. May pop a little on decel. If they are the slash cut SE pipes, may make the bike run lean.

Good luck!

Yes, they will make the bike run lean and the '07's are already lean from the factory. There is a new flash from HD that the dealer will install for free.. just tell them the bike runs hot as hell.

If your SE pipes are the older version (pre smog) they will be very loud. Be sure you warm the bike up before riding and clear her throator she will cough at you and try to stall. Happened to me even after a dyno mapping to stop that and almost lost my rider right in front of the dealership due to it.. I was not amused.

I took my SE I pipes off and put on SE II pipes. Not only more quiet but better performance too. Much better low and mid torque. Someone here said... Loud doesn't equal power. It's just loud.
