103 stage I & II
I have a 07 UC and thinking about the 103 kit for installation this winter. What is confusing to this non wrench: the difference between 103 Stage I Kit for EFI models and Stage II Kit for EFI models. Realize dollars, but what is the advantages and disadvantages between each.

sorry key board died. The cams should give you a bit more low end-mid range grunt. They are designed for 2 up touring I think. No real disadvantage, unless you want gear driven cams. But, since the 07's have the roller chains, I don't think you have the tensioner wear problem, so you shouldn't worry about it. Other wise, unless you want to try for max power from your motor, it's a good buy. Especially from one of the discount places like Zannotti's (spelling?)or Chicago HD.

The stage II uses the SE-255 cams. I have the Stage II on my 07 Ultra. With the PCIII, I am getting 82HP and 101 ft/lbs. torque. Love it except for the fuel mileage, 30-34mpg.

OMG, 30-34mpg? Dang, didn't think it was that big of a hit on fuel mileage. Will it improve with more miles or is that it?
Tuning may help with that, but slightly higher compression Like 10. 1 or 10.5 to 1 and better cams should raise that up to 45 to 50 mph.
Head Quarters has 113 in builds that are getting 50 + with a carb!

After 10K miles, we're averaging 39mpg. That's 2-up, fully loaded. (you would NOT believe how much stuff she can cram into that tour pack)
My best tank was 43 mpg riding solo. Not great, but I like to ride a bit on the aggressive side?
If I really tried, I'll bet'cha I could squeeze 45 mpg without falling asleep from boredom.

I would also expect more along the lines of what BlackFlag has for results after "proper" tune.
If you are not comfortable with your tuner's ability, you may wanna consider a HQ ProTuner. It will work in conjunction with your existing PCIII and it will better manage your AFR & result in better performance and fuel economy. http://www.head-quarters-usa.com/protune.html

Must be a copywrite thing. The documentation doesn't mention the PCIII.
