Default Heat is bad on my 07 Ultra UPDATE!!

I picked up the 07 Ultra on Saturday and I love it, but I think I cooked my legs and roasted my weiner on the 100 mile drive home. The previous owner told me about the heat, but I thought it was an exageration. It runs great other than that though.I decided to order an Arlen Ness Big Shot Adjustable Fuel Injection Tuner to fix the problem. I hope it works, as I am too cheap to pay for pipes and an intake kit too. Anyone have any experience with it?

Here is a pic of my 06 Bob and 07 Ultra.

I know you don't want to spend the money but at some point a fuel management system (plus big A/C, and pipes that breathe) are really the only long term solution. It sucks that's the way it is..I blame the EPA.

Internal fix is the only fix. AFR is the cause. Deflectors are a band-aid. Buy a DTT/WEGO IID or other system add your pipes and A/F. You will have no heat problems.

Congrats on you new bike. You and I have the best of both worlds. It's nice having two bikes. If one is down waiting on parts, you can always ride the other one. This has been the case for me a lot lately as I complete the stage 1 on the RG. The heat issue is gone for me after spending 1K for everything. I hate to tell you this but a stage 1 upgrade may be in the future for you. On the other hand, there are a lot of guys who ride stock bikes here on this forum. I have nothing against it. I just wanted a cooler, better, faster running bike. Good luck with yours.
Steve
