I know this has been talked about a lot. I've searched and read tons of psots. I beleive this comparison feedback will be helpful in making the final decision on slip ons. It's hard since I can't hear them side by side. What's your opinion on these three with a scale of 0 - 10.

10 best and 5 equals stock pipes.

A. Loudness
B. Depth of sound
C. Fit and finish

1. Reinhart slip ons
2. V&H oval slip ons
3. Rush slip ons w 1.75 bafffles

Ive only had the ovals out of those 3 but it was loud as I would want to go and sounded low and good, fit and finish was great.

 

There ALL about the same..
Rineharts slip-ons are not as loud as there true-duals - Tips will may change colors from black to redish-purple in time unless you go with the chrome to start with..
V&H - will be the loudest of the 3 you have listed
Rush - will be least loud of the 3 but is nice that you can always change the baffles if you want more noise

 

Well that's interesting. I would have said the Rineharts were louder then the V&Hovals.

 

I have also owned the V an H duals and oval mufflers. I thought the ovals were a tad loud at highway speeds too. Sounded good though. I am considering Bub's this go round on my 08 but the black tips do discolor and i don't want to spend another 90 to 100 bucks to buy chrome ones. I should have the option to pick. I would give V and H a 7 on a scale of 1-10.
