Just didn't like that oversized trunk lid look.
And I can get all I need in the bags, TP & Rack. 
Like most, the more room I have, the more junk I take. And vice versa.....

no offense intended...
but I just don't care for the look of the leather tour pak--- butt ugly IMHO---
Was at Street Vibrations in Reno, and one of the vendors had a leather hard bag --- about $100--- see attached photo - photo sample does not include the small round travel case---
I don't normally go for the buckles, studs, beads and fringe--- but I have to say that this bag really does look good on the RK Classic--- wife LOVES it, plenty of room, top travel case comes off separately--- has a rain jacket--- only used it on four or five trips, but very secure, and seems to just go with the bike--- just my 2 cents
