Has anyone run Kerker slip ons on a Tour bike? I'm looking for a deeper Harley sound but not so loud I can't hear my music. How do these compare to V&H slip ons.

 

Had a set of V/H on my 89 Eglide and after a couple thousand miles they where loud.
I didnt replace the packing in them before an 14 hour rod trip to Reno and after sitting inthe saddle all day long @ Speeds of 75-80 Mph I couldnt hear the stereo at times..wind noise and exhaust....
Kerker and V/H I am sure will prolly sound the same after that long in the saddle.

I haveKerker slipons and at first I wasn't very happy with them because all my friends have Thunderheaders and I really like that deep sound. But after a 6 hour ride to Michigan and having to listen to their pipes I learned to really appreciate the sound of the Kerkers. They bark when you crack the throttle but mellow out once on the highway.
