Cracked Indicator Lamp Screen 08 FLHRC
I just noticed thatmy Indicator Lamp Screen is now cracked. The crack runs across the entire face and has star cracks on the ends. (I did try to take a picture; but I couldn’t get one to come out on this camera.)
I imagine it will be a warrantee item. I might wait to get it fixed but am a little paranoid about water getting in.
My 2008 FLHRC only has 500 miles on it. The only thing that could have affected it is sunlight. The temperatures around here have been mild for the Gulf Coast. My rides have been pretty smooth.
So I am just posting here to see if others have seen this. It might become a common repair if Harley bought a bad batch.
By the way, I am loving the ride. I have no other issues with this scoot.

Thanks for the Welcome. I did get a price quote from Nina. However, Cowboy gave me the same price and already had the bike I wanted on order. So I went with them but ended up waiting a month anyways.
I may be going back toLC Harleyfor parts and service though since she is closer.

Sorry for the delay in responding. I have been in the middle of a move.
I just replaced the Indicator Lamp Screen myself. The part was only about $9. It gave me a reason to poke around under the console. It’s a pretty easy job, but frustrating since you are replacing one tiny piece of plastic that should not have broken.
