Default Rinehart Slip-ons

I'm looking for new exhaust for my RKC, I'm not as much concerned with performance increases as I am with a better sound. I guess my question is...do Rinehart slip-ons sound(loud and deep) close towhat theRinehart true duels sound like.

Thanks

NO...
Slip-Ons loads quiter then the TD's

Ya whant something a louder - Go with V&H Ovals - Samsons Slip-Ons - RUSH

Ya want something Really Loud... Drag Pipes or Fishtails (no Baffles) - But then you better complete the stage 1 with these...

According to Mike at Latus Motors, Vance & Hines Basic Slip-on's with stock head pipes produce outstanding performance and sound. Another consideration is the new BUB Seven Slip-on's which are just now starting to appear. Very limited reviews about the BUB Seven's at this time so I think the majority of us are just sitting back and waiting to see how they sound and perform.

Jim Rego of BUB has informed me that American Cycle Magazine will be doing an article on the BUB Seven's in it's November issue.

I was just about ready to buy the V&H Basic Slip-on's until receiving a phone call from Jim. After our 15 minute phone conversation, I will wait until the pre-2007 BUB Seven's become available and see how they work.

Have a friend who has rh slipons. In my opinion they 0nlysound god when you are really twisting on the throttle. Duals sound better. Rh do have a deep tone and look good. I think most after market slipons share these characteristics. Quiet at idle and sound good when really on the throttle. Thats why I went with thunderheaders they sound good at idle, cruising and really good when going through the gears.

If your intersted in the rineharts I have a set that are like brand new with only about 400 miles on them.
They are a great sounding pipe but I am used to pipes a bit louder since I had some thunderheaders.
Let me know if your intersted. They were $450 new.

Do you have those Rinehart Slip-ons? If so, will they fit on a 2007 ElectraGlide Classic (FLHTC), fuel injected? And finally, if all this works, how much do you want for them? Consider me interested... send me private message with the details and info. Cheers!
