It runs better....smoother, too.

I ran M1vt in my last bike. Switching this one over, too. I'm using Amsoil this go around in both the crank and primary. Still sticking with Redline for the tranny. With a K&N oil filter it all was damn expensive, though![:@]

 

I just popped $71.00 for 5 quarts of amsoil and a filter. I used to complain when I spent that on my car but the bike?? Oh well. Just overpriced though. $9.99 qt.

 

Wow... I get 5 qts of MCV 20W50 AMSOIL and a K&N Oil Filter for around $55.00...

Have been using AMSOIL for most of my vehicles for years now... Has NEVER let me down!! - Noticed a BIG CHANGE on the '07 RG when I changed over...

 

Switched mine to M1 V-Twin the other day, motors a lot quieter.

 

I have 17,000 miles on my bike, will switching to synthetic help the bike or hurt it.

I use french fry grease. Love the smell.

 

A neighbor up the road from me has owned numerous harleys. He told me that he only used the regular dino oil and rides the hell out of his bikes. No problems.

Makes me wonder about all the expense we go to.

 

My old girlfriends dad use to change his oil with other peoples old oil and run it 5k to 8k in his chevy truck and put 250k on it before it took a ****. That don't mean i'm gonna try it.
