Been having the same trouble with my starmat4

Check two things on your HD HK stereo set up.

1. AVC automatic volume control set it to 4. (increases the volume of the stereo as you excerate)
2. Set the "volume" higher in the set up menue.

Try a Boostaroo it is a battery powered amp that works with the portable XM, IPods, ect. About 20 bucks on-line or BestBuy stores. Worked great with my XM poratable unit. Batteries last forever.

I have the Hogtunes front and rear speakers. Just picked up another car kit for my XM radio Pioneer Inno so I can move between vehicles.

I have the HD accessory socket mounted in my tour pack, mounted the Inno mount and the antenna using velcro inside the pack and use the FM transmitter to my radio, no problems.

Everything worked great and my volume is the same as my regular AM/FM/tape deck.
Very clear and loud.

I don't worry about changing channels, just listen to 70's only on XM

I have the XM Express and I have it plugged straight into the AUX port on my RG. I have the same problem,LOW VOLUME. I can't hardley hear the radio over 55-60mph. Do you think that Boosterroo will help increase the sound?
