Another Reader's Ride issue for American Bagger
Hello to all HDF Baggerites.
We had such a great response from our last Reader's Rides issues in American Bagger - we're going to do it again soon in 2008. If you don't know what we did, the October 2007 issue of American Bagger was dedicated the reader's rides, but they were given full features - not just a picture and nametag.
HDF had more bikes than anybody - and alot of you got bikes in too late, or didn't hear about it until we hit newsstands.
Due to the awesome response we're going to do it again.
If you would like your bike featured in this very awesome issue email nickz@americancyclemag.com and he will set you up with a shooter's guide and give you some details on how and what to do to start.
Some hints:
[ul][*]We want a riding shot, not you sitting on your bike.[*]If you shoot the bike in your driveway - get the cars out of the shot.[*]Don't shoot above your ability - if you want to use an artistic background don't let it take over the quality of the bike[*]take the smoke out of your mouth in the riding shot please. (you'd be suprised...) [/ul]
Also - where are the women baggerites?????
We had a great time putting this issue together, and look forward to making the next one even bigger than the last.
Thanks,
Doc.

RE: Another Reader's Ride issue for American Bagger
Doc, That was a great issue. It was cool to see the bikes from here on the forum. Some day I hope to have my bike done nice enough to make your pages. Only thing keeping me from it is collage for 2 kids! Anyway keep up the great work.
Ride Safe,
Mike
