Unless you are set on XM, check out the play lists on Sirius.
IMO they have better play lists, better channnels

Wife has XM in her car and I have Sirius in mine and on my Ultra and we like it better
If the merger goes thru it won't matter

They have been talking satellite radio merger for about a year now. Regular radio folks want to stop it because it would eliminate competition in that market. LOL!

Here is a link discussing the merger. Looks like a target completion of end 2007 is what they are shooting for.

Didn't have time to read the whole thing...

There is no volume control on the roady2. How are you guys controlling the volume??? I read about the menu screen and increasing the volume modulation but would like to be able to turn the volume up and down easy without scrolling through a bunch of stuff.

I posted about this about two months ago and put some photos out there of my setup..I use a SIRIUS Starmate Replay with the UniqueCycle Sounds amplified speakers. Amp is in the headlight and speakers are mounted on the handlebars..volume control is right in front of me as the SIRIUS unit is mounted on a mounting plate installed using the bolts that hold on the tach..I have an '01 Police RK..I can honestly say that after two solid months of use, it is absolutely fantastic! I can hear jsut fine from 0 MPH to 80+MPH on the interstate..I do havea windshield, but even without it, can still hear, just need to turn it up some more..I do get a slight bit of noise interference when I am idling and the radio is up louder, but I have only really noticed that once..

Take a look for the photos and if you can't find 'em, let me know and be glad to get some to you..

ron potier what cable did you use to connect to the harley radio, and did you have control over the functions with the stock radio controls?
