RE: ethanol
100% of gasoline in Mn has 10% ethanol, except special pumps that are for collector vehicles, tractors, lawn mowers, etc.
I always knew my Harley would be collectable....
Seriously, your bike will run just fine on a 10% ethanol blend, as long as the octane is correct (91 or higher). You mileage will be slightly less.

RE: ethanol
On my recent ride through Nebraska 10% was about all I could find. The bike seemed to run ok, but my gas mileage was pretty bad. I think that's one of the reasons HD has gone to the 6 gallon tank on the new touring bikes. More gas but still the same touring range when running in the ethanol states.

RE: ethanol
No thanks, I'll pass on the corn. This corrosive low-energy threshhold mix is the last thing I want in my FLH (where's my toluene?). I'd rather peel peanuts at the side of the road than pour this cr*p in. Squeezins' are meant for drinking boys, not a sorry excuse for "alternative energy". Trust your resident organic chemist on this one, it's another environmentalist wacko pipedream that should be retired to the dustbin of history!!! [:'(]

RE: ethanol
The ethanol program is a sellout to lobbyists funded by large midwest farmers with political clout.
It costs more energy to produce 1 gallon of ethanol than the conventional fuel savings.
Ethanol delivers lower gas mileage overall making it substandard to the price of gas..etc..I could go on..
