PC III on RG - Dealer wants to Dyno it $200?
I took my RG in today for the 5K service. Inquired about Sert or PC. Dealer suggested PC for $450 and an additional $200 to dyno it. I'm new at this but based on what I've read I thought the adavantage of the PC III was you could install it yourself and download your own maps. Does a specific dyno for your bike add enough to justify $200?
Thanks, you guys are a great help.

check online prices for pcIII or checkfuel moto. My dealer charged me 140 for dyno and 140 to install pipes/air to keep the warrenty intack...? brought my own parts in witch made up for most of there charge. Also like everyone says on the forum about how good they will tune it? Im fairly certon I did not get the best tune for 140 with 2 runs. Basicly added some fuelfrom a canned map included with sert. But in conclusion it runs well so im happy....for now

My bike came with a PC111 that I was unaware of until I was installing th secutity siren.
I then installed the SE Air Filter and bike was running ok, It was when I was looking into changeing the tenioners that it really came together that I found the cams where wearing so off to get the SE203's and finish the install.
I called up Jarzz Performance in Abbotsford ( Canada ) and booked an appointment...rode the bike 60 miles to the shop and was there for the turning of the key cerimony, had the bike on the Dyno for a little under an hour, parted with $100.00 and was tweaked to 69 Hp and 76ft trq.
So, the short answer is they may charge you the full 2 Hun or a portion there off as it depends on what mods are done to your bike. I was happy with said results, just didnt like the 36 mpg after is all.
Long Story I know, but just passing on my results with a Dyno tune

You got a halfass tune. Takes more than an hour and of couple pulls to get a precise dyno tune.
