No problem at all...I just finished the Myrtle Beach trip 792 total miles in about 12.5 hours. Went with a buddy who had never been over 200 miles and one day. Last couple hours were rough but had a great time.

 

I think it makes a difference on how the weather is. I've done 200 miles that the wind just beats you to death, or cold & rainy, but if it not to hot or cold, and not super windy, should be a great ride.

Don't forget about the wind. A stiff headwind can make 500 miles seem like 700!

 

if riding two up, until the whining starts in the back of the bike + 50 miles, unless the whining is coming actually from the bike. another trick to increase the ride length is to disconnect the intercom. will gain you a couple of more miles.
