Straight pipes.

But why would you strive to be "the loudest"?

I have V&H Big Shot True Duals with the quiet baffles. The quiet baffles don't make the pipes noticeably quiter, but they make the tone deeper. They are pretty darn loud. They are louder than the Rinehart True Duals I had on before.

If what you want is noise and many more tickets for it, you need to create a megaphone. That is just a cone with no baffles to impeed the sound. It will be very loud, any metal shop should be able to create them, add $500 for chrome and wala - noise tickets.

Funny you should say that Gene. Got a brand new set of these in the shop that I just can't seem to part with.

I am looking for the Loudest dual exhaust for my 99 electra glide. I was thinking of going with the Vance Hines?
I will never understand why anyone wants to make a TOURING bike excessively loud. Just makes no sense to me.

IMO, other than the straight pipes already mentiond, HardKrome true duals are significantly louder than the rest.

I have Samson drag fishtails (no baffles). They are the loudest around. I was thinking of going with the fullsac dual system, which should make them even louder. If you have a radio, you might want to reconsider loud pipes. You will have a hard time hearing the radio. Heck, I use a mp3 with ear buds, and I can't even hear them, and they are in my ear. Loud, yes. And, everyone will tell you straight pipes will hurt performance, and I can not argue that. I can say that I felt no difference between my stock slip ons and my fishtails. I am very happy with them, and would only change them if, and when, I start thinking more about performance than style. BTW, the only thing that I do not like is where the right exhaust will yellow/blue at the start of the slip on. It is easy enough to clean, with blue job, but something else you might think about.

My V&H fish tails, even with the stock headers, are pretty loud. I've heard a bike with true duals and Samsons. Loud as hell.
