Default Thunderheader slipons...

I'm currently running V&H Ovals with stock headers on my 07 EGC. I love the tone of the Ovals but they don't bark enough for me anymore. A few guys I ride with run Thunderheader 2-1 on their dressers, and I love the sound at idle and when they get on it. I know the 2-1 is best for torque but I just can't get used to the 2 bags/1 pipe look, so I'm looking at the Thunderheader slipons with my stock headers. Any of you guys running this set up, and if so,how does it sound compared to the 2-1?

Hey G...I've watched this video a thousand times, your bike sounds killer! I'm probably gonna end up gettin the Thunderheader slips over the winter. I noticed you have the true duals, you think they'll sound much different with me using the stock head pipes?

They Sound even Better with a Little Engine Work, I Installed SE 211 Cams in my Bike and the only worry I have now is that the LEO's will get me for the LOUDNESS of the Pipes

Now, the heat shields you buy seperately cover the sides of the muffler bodies? Also, have you gotten any discoloration or that black sooty look towards the tip end? I've noticed the black soot on my buddies' TH's...
