I watched someone take my father down in a similar careless way. Brand new bike, rolling down I-55, and this jerk just had to make an exit ramp and bunted him into a retaining wall at 70 mph in the process. My dad made it--thanks to his full coverage helmet and leathers--but the bike was done. Nothing like looking into your rearview mirrors and watching your father roll and tumble across four lanes of Interstate with the big rigs bearing down. However, one trucker got his rig blocked across several lanes and saved him from being run over. The driver of the little red car kept going to wherever she needed to get to so quickly, a classic hit and run.
