Nobody is forced to click a link to a wreck. Whether it make you aware, paranoid or sick isn't the point.

If it saves one of us by making them a little more aware of the impact of not looking both ways at an intersection it's worth it. Remember, we don't ignore the risk, we manage risk everytime we throw a leg over.

Always cover your break when entering an intersection and be sure you are practiced in your emergency breking.

Been there, done that, the cage that hit me had a red light, too. Didn't do me no good though, I still lost my leg. THEY WILL RUN OVER YOU!

Cage had a red light, bike had the green light.

Doesn't even look like the cage hit the brakes, he just tried to swerve at the last minute.

Steve
Yes he did. watch again. Wicked nosedive as he noticed he blew the light. It wasn't because he saw the bike, tho', methinks.

You can hear the tires squeel just before impact. I'm guessing that he was talking on his cell when he ran the light. I see it every day here in my town. Driving and talking on the phone don't mix. We have a law now and I can't wait to start seeing it enforced. $100 fine for talking on a cell phone without a hands-free kit. Will the law help? Maybe. The drivers will still be talking but at least they will be driving with both hands.
