My dad sent me an email last night telling me he is going to get a new Harley and if I wanted the 07 Ultra I could have it! This is great news to me and I am very excited to say the least! I have had my 06 FXDBI for 25 months now and have had a ball putting 14,000 miles on it (even rode it to Sturgis on my honeymoon last year), but it is too small for trips and such.

Are there any recalls or issues I need to be aware of on 07 Ultras? He said something about it running a bit lean or getting a bit warm...

Congrats on your new ride! I, too, have an '07 Ultra. Your dad is correct in that it does run lean and therefore gets hot; it is an EPA thing. No recalls that I am aware of. There seems to be allot of interest in the Isolated Drive System whichsmooths out the tranny; it is standard on the '08s. Anyway, enjoy your new ride; it is an awesome bike. Any pics of the new Ultra?
