RE: 16" rear with 21" front too much difference???
oh yea, forgot to mention, if you are doing this swap on an older (3/4" axle) HD, you'll spend a lot of money on the rear wheel. Don't believe it when someone says their aftermarket wheel will bolt right up... You'll have to change the drive pulley and brake rotor. Custom wheel spacers will have to be made. I did the swap only because a dealer ensured me it was a "bolt-on". BS! Ended up spending another $400. Won't mention any names here, but the aftermarket dealer is one of the largest in the states and is in eastern Maryland. The front end is no problem, spacers from a Dyna will correct the wheel alignment.
RE: 16" rear with 21" front too much difference???
I just can't spend $3K for new wheels and tires, so I'm keeping the rear stock and going with 18s on the front. Hey the sportsters and Dueces have different wheel sizes, right.
