I have a 99 ultra I need the detachable mount kit for the tour pack, The dealer I called cannot seem to find it for sure. Does anyone know what the HD part number is. Thanks

 

53804-06 is the docking hardware for the detachable two-up tour pak rack. You can confirm this on the HD website.

 

Here, I can't remember who posted it or I give him the credithe's due!A picture that helped me a lot whenI put mine on! When those front plastic bushing wear out give me a hollar I just made some billet Alum. replacements for them, good luck it's a real PITA installing them but on the bright side you only have to do itonce!!!

I don't know if HD is still making the detachable tour pac rack for your year bike. You might have to go to EBay or somewhere to get one. They are different that the newer model racks that are currently in the catalog.
