Default Best additions to your Ultra Classic

I think by far, the addition of the Iso-dampener pulley on the rear wheel would rate as the best thing I could have done to my 2007 UltraClassic. Not only did it all but eliminate the whine associated with the 5th and 6th gears, it made it like my '03 Fatboy that I had the HD 6speed replacement gear set added to: I could lug it to 40-45mph without having to listen to the awful whine and transmission noise the Ultra was famous for. I was beginning to wonder if I had made a huge mistake buying the Ultra until I got the fix for the whine. It just made everything smoother, quiter, and more pleasant to ride. My next best investment of just over $10 was for the between the front fork air dam that directs the air downward that comes thru the forks. This little number will eliminate most of the air that comes up around the tank and blast you in the face. It really helps, too. The black version is about $10, the chromed version is about double that. Neither of these were "for show", but both very functional items that I think was money well spent. PACO

The ones that come to mind for me was the:
conversion of the spot lights so they dont go off after turn the high beam on...
progressive springs set up for a firmer ride...
ride str8
Lyndall Z pads and 3 floating rotors all the way around...
sundowner seat with mustang back rest...
better tunes Hog Tunes...
and lets not forget about the rear shocks and changing the fluid to a heavier fluid...

TexasBowHunter, how did you make the spot lights not shut off when putting on the high beams?? Is there a kit or something, I really want that too.

Thanks

Sam
